Kennet & Avon Canal
A selection of images taken along the 200 year old Kennet and Avon Canal. This once major transport route, built during the heyday of British canals, connected the River Thames at Reading in the east to Bristol's Floating Harbour in the West. Along the way there are numerous interesting sites such as the Crofton Pumping Station, the impressive Caen Hill flight of locks at Devizes, the ornate aqueducts at Avoncliff and Dundas, the City of Bath and Bristol's vibrant Floating Harbour.
